The Pigtown Festival is Downtown Baltimore's only community festival wild enough to bring you the "Running of the Pigs", an homage to when Pigs were herded throught the streets of Pigtown after being unloaded from the B&O Railroad. New for 2010 the festival has been expanded to include a CLASSIC CAR SHOW that will be a great addition to the Pigtown Festival.
The Pigtown Festival is a production of Pigtown Main Street whose mission is the revitalization of the historic commercial district in Pigtown to attract businesses that will generate local jobs, increase the local tax base and foster a vibrant community where people will want to live, shop and dine.
